What roof repairs involves

Most roof problems start small. A single slipped tile, a lifted ridge, a hairline split in the lead. Left alone through an Essex winter that becomes wet plaster, rotten battens and a much larger bill.

We repair rather than replace wherever the roof allows it, and we tell you honestly when a repair is not the right answer. Every repair is photographed before and after so you can see exactly what was done up there.

How quickly can you attend a roof leak?

We aim to attend active leaks within 24 to 48 hours across Epping, Loughton, Harlow and Brentwood. If water is entering the property we will make it safe first and return to complete the permanent repair.

Is it worth repairing an old roof or should I replace it?

If the timbers are sound and the covering has life left, repair is the sensible choice. Once you are replacing tiles every winter, or the battens and felt have perished, a full re roof works out cheaper over ten years. We give you both prices.

Will my insurance cover storm damage?

Most buildings policies cover storm damage. We provide a written report with dated photographs that you can submit with your claim.
