What chimney repairs involves

The usual causes are failed flaunching at the top, open pointing, a cracked or missing flashing at the roof line, or a capped flue with no ventilation. All four are fixable and we identify which applies.
Do I need scaffolding for chimney work?
For anything beyond a very minor repair, yes. Working safely at a stack needs a proper platform. We include scaffold in your written quote so the price is complete.
