What leak detection involves
Water travels. It runs along rafters, follows pipework and drops through a ceiling several metres from where it entered. Chasing the stain is why so many leaks get repaired twice.
We work from the loft down and the roof up, checking flashings, valleys, penetrations, gutters and abutments methodically until we find the actual entry point, then repair it properly.

01992 245604Why did my last roof repair not stop the leak?
Because the repair was made where the water appeared rather than where it entered. Finding the true entry point takes time on the roof and in the loft. That is what we do first.
Can you find a leak in wet weather?
Often it is easier. Live water shows us the path. If the weather is dry we can water test the suspect areas in sequence.
